On Ash Wednesday, 2020, Pastor Terry preached at the Ecumenical Service held at the Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church. Participating churches included Brownson Presbyterian, First Baptist Southern Pines, Emanuel Episcopal, Trinity A.M.E. Zion, and Congregational Church of Pinehurst.
